berlin wall – the best of east side gallery IV.

The East Side Gallery is an international memorial for freedom. It is a 1.3 km long section of the Berlin Wall located near the centre of Berlin on Mühlenstraße in Friedrichshain. The Gallery consists of 105 paintings by artists from all over the world, painted in 1990 on the east side of the Berlin Wall. It is possibly the largest and longest-lasting open air gallery in the world. The paintings at the East Side Gallery document a time of change and express the euphoria and great hopes for a better, more free future for all people of the world. 1. Berlin is one of the cities I want to visit. Art is amazing in this city. I also love to watch “Euromaxxi DW” television program. For me she is the heart of the art world. And I can’t believe when I visit your blog, how rich with all these artists… I just wanted to share with you. Thank you, have a nice day and weekend, love, nia

    • Nia! It’s so nice to read these words. O Yes there is much interesting art thing going on in Berlin.sometimes even too much what makes me overstimulated and uncreative. And sometimes there is too much cool hype in Berlin. Often I dream of living outside in a small village to observe and see and photography more relaxed and silently. Or maybe Istanbul. Very very beautiful and interesting. I’ve been too times and wanna go back there again…but before I will enjoy day by day your daily life impressions of the Istanbul region. Thank you Nia! Sunny greetings from Berlin, Daniel
